Apple Bee can help ensure that your child develops the necessary readiness and skills for school and give them a better start toward a successful future. We service 12 month old children and up to first grade.
In our preschool we help kids get ready for school. Seemingly simple tasks like holding a crayon, bouncing a ball, working with scissors and tying a shoe are milestones in your preschooler’s development. By simply helping kids practice a variety of skills from balancing on beams, learning basic reading skills or hands on science activities – we can prepare them to enter school with self- confidence and a strong sense of physical awareness.
We’ll teach your child through sight, touch and sound. The Apple Bee Math and Science Curriculum (STEM) will give your child the foundational skills he/she needs to be ready for school. Along with the STEM curriculum your child will receive a strong reading foundation. Our Beginning Readiness Program is geared toward the younger toddlers. This program will introduce the important beginning reading skills like the alphabet with phonetic sounds and basic sight words. Both of our programs use curriculums that incorporate a multi-sensory approach that includes a variety of effective materials. By teaching your child through sight, sound and touch; we can ensure that he or she masters the skills he/she needs to be successful in all subjects . The multi- sensory approach used at Apple Bee makes learning a challenging and rewarding process for children.
In 2015 Apple Bee became an Early Math and Science Academy using the STEM Curriculum. Along with the Early Math and Science curriculum(STEM) we offer the Agriculture and Science Program.
Students observe World Honey Bee Day August 15. Students learned how essential bees are for life on Earth. There are more than 19,000 species of bees which are responsible for pollinating 30% of the world’s food crops and 90% of wild plants. For the past 15 years, bee populations have been declining at an alarming rate. It is necessary to educate children at an early age the importance of pollinators and planting bee friendly flowers.
